JOJO RABBIT OFFICIAL TRAILER 2019

Writer & director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

WE KIDS FROM STATION ZOO!

It started as a warning book from 1978 written by 2 German journalists based on the true story of Christiane F, a 14 year old drug addict. She hung out at the Sound nightclub in Berlin and before long, she was scoring at the Zoo Station, and selling herself. This story influenced generations of European youth.

Then it was made into a raw naturalistic movie in 1981.

Now this memorable story has reemerged as a TV series which has clear intentions and is very sensitively done.

We have just completed casting local roles and are really pleased to have participated in such an iconic project.

AND IT’S A WRAP ON RESISTANCE!

RESISTANCE

This is the true story of Marcel Marceau and the courageous secret life he led in the French resistance, saving the lives of hundreds of Jewish children.
Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Clemence Poesy, Ed Harris, Bella Ramsay, Matthias Schweighofer, Edgar Ramirez, Karl Markovics, Geza Rohrig and Felix Moati.

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to cast the entire film.

We are over the moon to be casting JOJO RABBIT.

The director, Taika Waititi (THOR, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE) has written the script which blends his signature humor, pathos, and deeply compelling characters in a World War II satire about a ten-year-old boy who, ridiculed by his peers and misunderstood by his mother, can’t quite figure out how to fit in. As the naive young German struggles to understand his place in an increasingly Fascist regime, he resorts to an imaginary friend who can offer advice and help him cope.

Take a look on Taika’s previous movies that made us to adore him and we are really honored to work with such a unique director and actor in one person. If you haven’t seen any of it, you just have to!  You will definitely have fun.

WHAT WE DO IN SHADOWS (2014)

We did not have any idea what to expect. What we got was one of the funniest movies of this year or any year for that matter. The jokes are brilliant and more importantly, they are frequent and consistently great. We love the interaction of the main characters with each other.

HUNT FOR WILDERPEOPLE (2016)
